Vokka island’s fertile ground is perfect for crop cultivation, be it on land or underwater. You can plant plenty of crops all year long with different species of plants to be cultivated with each coming season. Each crop can be sold for gold or used to improve your progression in the game.
Your farm consists of 2 separate cultivation patches, each has an area of 18 x 18 grids: a land patch for land crops just outside of your farm house, and a water patch which is in a part of the pond, easily accessed through the huge ramp on the bottom left of your land patch. Tending the crops varies slightly for each category of crops. While you have to keep the land crops alive by watering with a watering can, you cannot water aquatic crops. Instead, you will have to interact with the crop (on default control, use keyboard's F button ) to scare away the fish to keep your crops from getting eaten and dying.
To plant land crops, you need to till the soil with a tool, hoe. To plant aquatic crops, you need to use a shovel. Both tools are among the tool set that the Mayor Moku gave to you on your first morning waking up in the farm house. Alternatively, if you need a new copy of your tools for any reason, you can either buy a new one from Emilia's shop or craft it at the craft station next to your house.
Every in-game day that passes will add debris to your farm plots. Old logs, ferns, wild mushrooms and stones will appear on the farm, and bushes, sea ferns and starfish will appear underwater. These can be collected by interacting (on default control, use keyboard's F button) and some are used in crafting new farming tools.
Fertilizer and Supersizer can be used on crops to create high quality and gigantic crops, respectively. Every use of fertilizer adds a cumulative chance for the resulting crop to be high quality, and can be applied once a day up until harvest. Supersizer is applied to a 2x2 grid of the same crop, and requires all four crops to be fertilized every day until the crops merge into one. Supersizer is applied after the seed cycle, and during the growing cycle (represented by the vine when highlighting the crop), but before all crops become ready to harvest. The chance the crop merge will be random, sometimes it will appear right after first apply sometimes could be happened after 4th day. Currently, there are no high quality gigantic crops.
